It was so sad to see Shane finish up 3rd grade.....not only cuz he made soooo many new friends, but mainly because he had the absolutely coolest teacher EVER!!!! If it was up to him (and me) he would of just stayed with his 3rd grade teacher FOREVER. How many teachers do you know take an hour of their time BEFORE school starts to help challenge a student that he knows is way ahead of the other students in Math??? Shane looked forward to getting to school at 730am every day! Every day was fun and involved learning through sports and sports teams....what more could a boy ask for? The following pictures are from Shane's final full day of 3rd grade. The fire department came out to help keep the kids cooled off by spraying their hoses on the water slide as well as the kids while standing in line waiting their turn. I have video of Shane racing his teacher and a few classmates....however, for some reason blogspot is not letting me download them. UGH!
