And he thinks he's gonna eat this all by himself......in a week!

"FUTURE ROCKSTAR"

Casey got a guitar for Christmas and will be starting lessons soon. Now he'll be playing guitar AND drums! I think something really good is gonna come out of all his musical talent. It's definitely something that just comes easy to him! Rock on Casey J!

BEST FRIENDS FOREVER

WHO IS THIS GUY?

I don't know who had more fun with all the Nerf guns that Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Monica sent the boys for Christmas.....but I'm pretty sure this picture will give you the answer!

SHANE'S FURRY FRIEND

Shane's cute little Christmas present that he named "Cubbie".

SILLY SANTAS

Kyle and Shane just looking cute and sportin' (get it?) some very stylish Santa hats!

WISHING YOU A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

FINALLY A TROPHY WINNER!!!

Ryan finally received his very first trophy! YEAH!!! He just finished up the Fall Season of tee-ball and he loved every minute of it. And he sure is sooooo proud of his trophy.....the coach handed it to him while it was still in the box (afraid the 4 year olds might break it) and Ryan just hugged his box as tight as he could and wouldn't let go of it even when I told him there was a real trophy inside. I practically had to pry the box out of his hands so I could get his picture with the trophy! And even now he won't take it out of the box to display it in his room.....he just wants to keep it in the box. :o)

HOLIDAY GREETINGS!

These were the fastest pictures I ever took for our Christmas card. I think I only had to take 4 (maybe 5) pictures total. And to get two good pictures with two different poses was unbelievable! Usually taking ANY pictures of all the boys together is crazy, but our Christmas card one is ALWAYS the most stressful part of our year!!! We hope everyone enjoyed it!

SNOW DAY!

Shane's third grade class spent the last day before Christmas break just having fun playing in the snow. Even though this snow (12 tons total) was brought in by a truck and not by mother nature, everyone still had a blast making snowmen, snowforts and throwing snowballs. It was cool to see how they make snow here....they use HUGE bags of ice that are poured into this machine that crushes the ice and then all of sudden you get "snow" spraying out of a hose. Shane sure was wiped out and he couldn't get rid of his goosebumps at the end of the day.....he's totally not used to that kind of cold.

GOOFY KIDS

These photos are from Thanksgiving night when the boys and Payton were goofing around and just having fun!

"OH WHAT FUN....."

During Ryan's classroom holiday party, the kids sang a few Christmas songs for all of the parents....check Ry-Ry out while he is singing (and ringing) "Jingle Bells"!

OUR STATE CHAMPION!!!

Kyle's football team, "The Dawgs", are Arizona State Champions! The Dawgs were undefeated the entire season and this last game was a nail biter....final score 34-14. All my videos of Kyle were way too hard to view because I was jumping up and down too much. It was by far his best game EVER! He had two touchdowns (one about a 60 yard run), he had tons of tackles, but two MAJOR ones that he made right at about the 2 or 3 yard line when the other team was trying to score and he made those tackles while coming up from about 10-12 yards behind....running like a little thoroughbred! Plus he knocked 3 guys out of the game (NOT on purpose), but the game did have to be stopped each time so the opposing team could attend to their player from Kyle's hard hits. I cannot even begin to explain the nerves and excitement that came along with this championship game (and the whole season)! When I arrived at the field and the team was just warming up it gave me goosebumps and I even had tears at that point and the game hadn't even started yet. Funny thing is that Rory and I were the nervous ones and Kyle was totally laid back and just went out there to play and do what he loves to do! Can't wait for next season to start!!! GO DAWGS!!!

DUDE, NICE 'DO!!!

I cannot even tell you how happy I am that this Crazy Hair Day at school is finally done! They all have been letting their hair grow just for this day and these hairdos. Time for some haircuts whether they like it or not! And if I hear one more time that the short spikey look is sooooo out of style, I'm gonna just get their heads shaved! LOL! :)

WHATEVER YOU DO.....DON'T SMILE!

CUTE LITTLE T-BALL PLAYER

KYLE'S #1 FAN

Kyle and his biggest (and proudest) fan.....DAD!

GO DAWGS!!!

Kyle's team won AGAIN to make them 10-0 and the Central Arizona Youth Football Champions! Next up, State Championship!!!

PUMPKIN BASH

Shane's class had a "Pumpkin Bash" party for Halloween. This consisted of the absolute messiest game I've ever seen in my entire life. They had what looked like a bowling alley set up in the classroom but it was all covered in plastic. When it was each child's turn to bowl, the teacher would spray the kids face, body, hands and feet with a mixture of whip cream and strawberry and chocolate syrup. Next the kids had to use a pumpkin to try to knock down 2 liter bottles while slipsliding all over the place! All this was done right in the classroom!!! Oh, I almost forgot, ALL parents that came to watch HAD to participate as well.....minus all the mess being sprayed all over them. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen happen at a school party! This picture was BEFORE Shane got a face full of whip cream!

TRICK OR TREAT, SMELL MY FEET!

For Halloween the boys went trick or treating with their friends in our old neighborhood because the houses are more close together there and they could get more candy in a shorter amount of time! Smart, huh? Casey wanted to be something classic, so what's better than Dracula? Kyle was the absolute coolest Booble Head Grim Reaper. Shane is the cutest Sumo Wrestler I've ever seen. Ryan just had to be a zombie.....don't ask why! And Drew wasn't feeling too well so instead of the Chicago Bears uniform I got him, he just wore a simple tiger costume.....still a cutie though. Helpful tips I learned from this Halloween.....don't ever get a costume with a mask for a 4 year old and all kids hate those scratchy wigs!

PUMPKIN CARVING 2008

This past Halloween we joined our neighbors for a Pumpkin Carving Party. Everyone had their own pumpkin and was responsible for trying to complete the carving all by themselves.....except Ry-Ry of course. Casey, Kyle and Shane's are on the top from the right side and Ry's is the bottom left. I think they all turned out great!

CHECK OUT SHANE!

LOTS OF SCHOOL AWARDS

Kyle was honored by his school as being a "Kid with Character" for showing fairness to his fellow students. Funny thing is Shane got this same award last year so it must run in the family! :o) Kyle also made the Honor Roll (one B and just missed straight A's by one point) and received an award for having Perfect Attendance during the first quarter of the school year. (Sorry, but he is just "too cool" for me to take a picture of him with his awards!) Shane also made the Honor Roll (ALSO one B and just missed straight A's by one point) and he also had Perfect Attendance. Finally, Casey was nominated by his teachers as Student of the Month for October. He attended a breakfast awards ceremony with Rory and of course Rory forgot to take pictures! UGH! The best part about Casey's award is only a few students out of the 1300 in the school get this nomination each month and this is the second year in a row that Casey has been nominated! That is soooooo awesome!!! Almost forgot, Casey once again made Honor Roll too with all A's and one B.

VERY SCENIC BUT VERY SCARY!!!

A few weeks ago Kyle had a football game in Globe, AZ which is over an hour drive from our house. Here are just a few pictures of what we had to drive through to get there. It was really beautiful, but me and my white knuckles just can't handle those narrow winding mountain roads especially when going down the mountains and I'm the only driver on the road who seems to drive careful....or maybe a little too careful. :o) It was nothing like the mountains I had to drive through coming home from San Diego.....which I was almost in tears the entire time doing especially dealing with such high winds too! But these kind of roads just scare me way too much!!! But the surrounding mountainviews were pretty amazing! And no I didn't take these pictures while driving.....Casey did!

SAY CHEESE!!!

FOOTBALL HIGHLIGHTS

Kyle's team won AGAIN.....16-0.....which makes them 8-0 for the season and this game was their first playoff game. Again, I wasn't able to get any pictures or video.....someone's gotta watch Ryan and Drew while the game is going on! :)
Shane had a great game last night.....even though his team lost! :( He had two touchdowns.....one on the very first play of the game when the QB handed the ball off to him and Shane ran the entire length of the field. I wasn't able to get that one on video, but I did get his other TD plus three awesome catches he made! Check Shaney out in action.....

OUR LITTLE CUTIE!

Drew is getting soooo big and everyday he's changing more and more. Lately he's been doing such fun stuff like....climbing out of his crib in the middle of the night calling out "Ry-Ry, Ry-Ry, Ry-Ry". UGH!!! And not just once at night, sometimes we're up for 4 hours straight! He is trying so hard to be like Ryan, which I'm not really sure is a good thing. :) He's just lucky he's a little cutie!

IT'S FINALLY RYAN'S TURN TO PLAY!

After sitting through soooo many baseball and football games for his brothers, it's finally Ry-Ry's turn to be part of a sports team. He is now playing T-Ball and is absolutely loving every minute of it! He's playing on a team with a bunch of kids from the neighborhood, but has made lots of new friends too. He thinks he is soooo cool in his very own uniform....which he calls his costume! He had his first game last Saturday and you'll see in this video his VERY FIRST at bat and it was a great one!

THE LEADER OF THE BAND

Casey is playing percussion this year again in the school band. They had their first concert last week and Casey was chosen to be the schools very first Student Conductor. He was in charge of getting the band warmed up prior to the start of the concert. He took this honor very seriously and you could tell he was a bit nervous on stage when they introduced him to the crowd. But of course, he did a really great job! We're soooo glad he's back to playing percussion instead of that VERY loud trombone he had to play last year since he was the new kid at school and they already had enough percussion players. He definitely enjoys playing the drums, especially since it seems that he's constantly tapping on something or making drum noises with anything he can get his hands on.

YOU GOTTA SEE THIS!

So, Tiger Woods started playing golf when he was 3 years old! Well, watch this video and see Drew, who is ONLY 21 months old and this is the very first day he ever tried to play T-ball. It totally doesn't matter that he holds the bat upside down, no matter how many times you hand it to him the right way, he still hits the ball almost on every swing! He even knew how to throw the bat down and run....probably from just watching the other boys play!!! We'll save this clip to show him when he's a future All-Star!

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?

Shane is in the middle of his flag football season and so far so good! Once again, he should be called "Mr. Speedy" cuz he's soooo fast! He is preparing for next year when he will hopefully put a little weight on that super skinny body of his so he can play tackle. He has already scored quite a few touchdowns.....the following video is one from last week's game, but I started taping the play a few seconds late so you can't see how far he actually ran.....probably about 35 yards total. Also, check out the sky in the background....absolutely beautiful sunsets at this time of year!

WHAT TIME IS IT? DAWG TIME!

I can't believe I'm just now posting a picture (and he's getting tackled - UGH!....Thanks Aunt Di-Di for taking the picture though!) from Kyle's football season since he's already played seven games! Sorry, but I'm sure most of you have already heard VERY descriptive play-by-play details from Rory following every game! :) His team is currently undefeated and playoffs start this week. He goes out there every game and just plays his little butt off. No matter what position the coach puts him at (receiver, running back, safety, defensive end), he dominates each and every time. We were a little worried going into this new league (it's REALLY intense - almost like military treatment sometimes) especially since Kyle had a really hard time during the preseason training camp they held five nights a week, three hours a night for the ENTIRE month of August. But put him in a game and he totally becomes the star player. Rory and I even get parents making really nice comments to us about how much they enjoy watching him play. And even some other players have asked Rory if they can teach them how to play and run like Kyle. The best part is Kyle actually truly enjoys playing and just goes out there and to win, but still has fun! (I wish I had more pictures or even some video to show you, but usually I'm way up in the bleachers and can't get a good picture from so far away or I'm too busy jumping up and down and cheering - I'll try to get some during playoffs!) GO DAWGS!!!

OUR CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE

The kids were recently off school for ten days for their Fall Break (another plus about Arizona!) so I took Casey, Shane and Ryan to California for the week. Kyle had to stay behind since he could not miss any football (which he was actually fine with cuz he's so dedicated to his team), plus he already had a week away by himself when he went to St. Lucia with Rory a few years ago. Hmmm, St. Lucia or California....which would you choose? Anyways, we drove to Los Angeles first and spent a few days at Disneyland and California Adventure and then a day at Knott's Berry Farm....which is by far the place we had the most fun at and we'd highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there (coolest and scariest rollercoasters ever, no long lines and it's cheap!). Next up, we drove down to San Diego and went to Legoland which everyone had a blast at too since it was their first time there. Even with Ryan pretty much crying after every ride.....not because he didn't like it, he just didn't want to ever get off the rides (including Space Mountain!).....we all had a really great vacation! Hope you enjoy all the following pictures and videos showing some highlights from our trip!

WHAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT DISNEYLAND?

Meeting Mickey Mouse!

OMG! - IT'S THE RIPTIDE!

Casey went on this "Riptide" ride over and over and over at Knott's Berry Farm. Since there was hardly anyone on it, the ride would just start up again if no one wanted to get off. I think this is Casey's favorite ride ever! Don't watch this video on a full stomach! Seriously, I got sick to my stomach just standing nearby watching it. YIKES!

Shane's Favorite Ride

Shane is gonna kill me when he sees that I posted this picture. He got REALLY mad at me when I was trying to take this picture.....I had to sneak taking it without holding the camera up very high. LOL! It's cute though!

Look who we met at Knott's Berry Farm.....

It's SNOOPY!
